CODE OF CONDUCT FOR EXAMINATION

 


• Student must arrive the exam hall 30mins before the commencement of each exam session.

• Student should observe NCDC guidelines as a condition for gaining access to exam venue.

• Only registered students will be allowed to sit for examination.

• Students should normally write exam at their designated centres. Visiting students; Para –military, medical personnel on duty and outpost humanitarian mission can be accommodated. However, they must show evidence that they are on assignments.

• Student must bring their writing materials and other materials, which may be permitted by the University for a Particular Exam.

• Once a student is admitted into the exam hall, he/she may not leave until he/she finishes with the examination. If for any reason the student must leave the hall he/she must do so with permission of the supervisor and must be accompanied by an invigilator, if permitted.

• Silence must be observed in the exam hall. Any student requiring the attention of the invigilator should rise his/her hand.

• Any activities or behavior which may be construed as examination misconduct or malpractice (e.g.) cheating, communication etc shall be liable to discipline in accordance with the university’s rules and regulation governing examination contained in the students’ hand book.

• Students are not allowed to smoke, sing, pray aloud or engage in any activity that may distract other candidates in the examination hall.

• Bags and briefcases are not allowed into the examination hall the university will not be liable for any loss and damage of students’ personal belongings.

• Unauthorized materials (such as text books, course materials etc.) in print or electronic form are not allowed into the exam hall.

• Pagers or phones are not permitted at all in the exam hall.

• Students must observe the supervisors’ instruction regarding the commencement and end of an examination. Students who start writing before they told to do so, or continue writing after being asked to stop may be sanctioned.
