When you want to register for a new semester, you may now see some elective courses you did not take showing as pending. This is not a new issue — it has always been there, but many students did not notice it before.
*👉 Here is a simple explanation:*
* In your 100 level (First and Second Semester), you may have had 3 electives but selected only 1 each semester. This means you still have some electives you did not take.
* The same applies to 200 level and 300 level.
Now, due to the portal upgrade, those remaining electives are now showing as pending courses.
*⚠️ Important Information:*
* These electives are NOT compulsory
* You are NOT required to register them
* They are only showing in case you choose to take them
✅ You only need to register courses that are:
Compulsory, or
Required for your programme
❗ If you see any compulsory course among the pending courses, then you must register it.
But for electives, you can ignore them if you have already met your requirements.
