Good day everyone.
Please find below the latest clarification from the Course HOD regarding the submission of the DES 303 project. Kindly read the information carefully and ensure that you follow the instructions provided.
1. Grouping for the Project
Students are permitted to form their own groups and work on the project collectively.
The Study Centre may also decide to group students if necessary; however, this is not compulsory.
Students who prefer to work independently may also carry out the project individually.
2. Study Centre Signature
Upon completion of the project, the Proposal Form must be taken to the Study Centre for endorsement and signature.
3. Required Documents
Each student must ensure that the following documents are properly completed:
* Proposal Form
* Project Logbook
* Project Report
4. Uploading of Documents
After completing the project and obtaining the required signature on the Proposal Form, each student must upload the documents individually on the portal.
All documents must be submitted in PDF format.
Please note that all three documents must be uploaded in order for the project to be graded.
5. Students Who Received an “F”
If you received an “F” grade, it most likely indicates that all the required documents were not uploaded.
There is no need to redo the project. Simply re-upload the same documents (Proposal Form, Logbook, and Project Report) in PDF format.
6. Students Who Completed the Project Last Semester
If you completed and submitted the project last semester but the course is appearing twice this semester, it indicates that the grading process is still ongoing.
There is no need to carry out the project again. Kindly remain patient while the grading process is being finalized.
7. If the Course Appeared and Later Disappeared
If the course previously appeared on your portal and later disappeared, it simply means that grading has been completed.
You are not required to register the course again.
8. Students Taking the Course This Semester
Students who are taking the course this semester must ensure that the course is properly registered. It must also be registered as an examination course for it to reflect correctly on the portal.
Please ensure that all instructions are followed carefully in order to avoid any issues during the grading process.
Thank you.
