TMA means Tutor-Marked Assignment
It is the *continuous assessment* every NOUN student must do *online* for each registered course during the semester.
-
*WHY TMA IS IMPORTANT*
In NOUN, your course score is shared as follows:
* *TMA = 30%*
* *Exam = 70%*
TMA is *not optional*. It is a compulsory academic requirement.
*NUMBER OF TMAs*
For most courses:
* There are *3 TMAs*
* *ALL 3 TMAs are counted*
Each TMA carries:
* *10 questions*
* *1 mark per question*
* *10 marks per TMA*
So:
* TMA 1 = 10 marks
* TMA 2 = 10 marks
* TMA 3 = 10 marks
* *Total TMA = 30 marks (30%)*
---
*VERY IMPORTANT NOTICE*
If you *miss TMA* for a course:
* You *can still write the exam*
* BUT your result for that course will *surely come out as “INCOMPLETE”*
This is *not optional* and *not negotiable*.
Missing TMA *automatically leads to INCOMPLETE result*.
