This message is for students who have registered DES303 or are planning to carry it out this semester.
If you are in:
• McCarthy center
• Victoria Island (VI) Study Center
• Ikorodu Study Center
• Lagos Mainland 1 Study Center
Please take this very seriously.
* I personally visited the study center to make proper inquiries, and we were clearly informed of the following:
* ✅ You must go physically to your Study Center.
* ✅ You must write down your name and matric number.
* ✅ You must submit your course/exam slip showing DES303 registration.
* ✅ The school will be responsible for grouping students.
⚠️ If you form your own group outside the officially approved school grouping, it may NOT be approved.
One of the centers specifically said:
* If you group yourselves and bring it to them without their awareness or approval, they may reject it — including your project topic.
They must:
• Be aware of the group
• Approve the grouping
• Know the topic
• Supervise the process
Also, some centers stated that:
• Groups must not exceed the approved number (some mentioned 10, 15, or 20 maximum depending on the center).
🚫 Do NOT make any payment for project work until your Study Center has officially approved your grouping and topic.
This is to avoid wasting money.
If you are already in a self-formed group:
👉 Either discard it, or
👉 All of you should go together to the Study Center, write down your details, and seek official approval.
* If they approve it, fine.
* If they do not approve it, ask them what the correct procedure is.
Please do not ignore this information.
