With a heart filled with gratitude and a deep sense of responsibility, I extend my sincere appreciation to every member of NAUS Lagos State Chapter for your unwavering support, commitment, and dedication throughout my administration.
Serving as your Chairman has been a great privilege and an opportunity to contribute to the advancement of student unionism and the welfare of university students across Lagos State. Together, we have strengthened the voice of students, promoted unity among institutions, defended the rights and interests of students, and enhanced the visibility and relevance of NAUS within and beyond Lagos State.
During our stewardship, we remained committed to inclusive leadership, effective representation, stakeholder engagement, and the promotion of policies and programs that positively impacted students. Through collective efforts, we organized impactful activities, fostered strategic partnerships, encouraged student participation in governance, and sustained the values of accountability, transparency, and service.
These achievements would not have been possible without the dedication of members of the State Executive Council, Stakeholders, institutional representatives, volunteers, and every student who believed in our vision. Your sacrifices, loyalty, and cooperation formed the foundation of our success.
I wish to specially appreciate all past leaders, the likes of Leader Akapo Mayowa, Leader Adekunle Jonathan ( success Man ), Leader Tinubu-King AbdulRoshid, Leader Agbaje Wasiu, Comr; Alimi Lekan, Student activists, university managements, government officials, partners, my dependable Chief of Staff and friends of NAUS who supported our administration and contributed to the growth of the association.
As a new leadership emerges to continue the work of building a stronger NAUS Lagos State Chapter, I urge all members to extend the same support and cooperation that made our tenure productive and successful. Leadership is a continuum, and the progress of our association depends on our collective commitment to its ideals.
On behalf of my administration, I say a heartfelt thank you for the trust reposed in us. The journey has been rewarding, the experiences invaluable, and the memories unforgettable. Though this chapter may be closing, my commitment to student development, youth leadership, and societal progress remains unwavering.
