It has come to the attention of Management that graduation lists and related confidential student records are frequently being circulated on various social media platforms without authorization.
Management views this development with serious concern, as such actions constitute a breach of institutional confidentiality, undermine the integrity of the University’s processes, and expose the University to reputational and data protection risks.
In order to curb this unacceptable practice, all students whose names have been approved for graduation shall only receive a message on their NOUN email and respective portals.
Consequently, communications to Study Centre Directors in respect of graduation lists would henceforth be through their NOUN email addresses. Also, accountants at the various study centres can verify students whose names are on the graduation list through their handle on the admin portal.
Study Centre Directors are hereby directed to inform all staff of their obligation to uphold the highest standards of professionalism, confidentiality, and ethical conduct in the discharge of their duties.
All staff at the study centres are therefore strongly advised to desist from sharing official documents on unauthorized platforms.
Management counts on the cooperation of the Study Centre Directors to safeguard the integrity of the University’s academic processes.
Thank you.
